Some RTV and a bolt. If you want low profile you could use a grub/set screw.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Dusy/Ershim trail is less than 24 hours away.

    :taco::mudding::taco:

Never done this one before. Will definately be the toughest trail we'll do this year.

    upload_2022-9-4_9-32-9.jpg

From the way it's been described to me, I feel like it's a bit under rated on the scale. Just for perspective, at 29.9 miles (it's actually 33 miles) it's 1/3 longer than Rubicon, and it has no outs, and no bypasses. From what I gather it keeps you on your toes for the whole 30 miles.

Looking at that trail profile also makes it look as if the trail is all down hill. But we'll be working that profile from Right to Left... which is, basically, all up hill.

We'll see what I think from the trailhead on the other end, on Friday.

Truck will definately be loaded. Packed for 5 days, 4 nights, and with a full compliment of spares.
    Rear driveline
    Spare U joint
    3 Spare CV axles
    LBJs
    OTREs
    ITREs
    Assorted nuts, bolts, etc

Full complement of tools, to include a new kit I made up in preparation for this trip...

    Let the fun times begin!

Dang, it's actually hot on the peninsula. Those are normal temps plus humidity for down here. If you wanna get work done, either deal with it or wait 6 months for a month of "cold"

Couldn’t wait for the urd dynamic tensioner… sooo I went ahead and installed my SC last night.
My first impressions are: it’s a lot quieter than all the videos I’ve seen, maybe my exhaust is loud? Lol it definitely has some get up and go though.. don’t even feel them 35’s on 4.56’s any more. I also put together some retrofits. Pretty happy with how they turned out. Except I found a cat hair inside one of them when installing…. Ugh.

Tried to replace my cracked manifold... tried is the key word. Nuts on the Y-pipe are on those studs pretty tight. Anyone know the size of the nut/stud? Gonna give it some juice Wednesday and will probably need to swap it all out then.

Good luck! Super jealous of the trips you have been taking and the level of difficulty trails you have access to. The Rubicon, Fordyce and this trail are all on my bucket list if I ever get to do some California wheeling.

What a badass looking dog. Almost looks like a wombat mixed with a lemur.
