Post a Pic of the wood grain. I don't think I've ever seen it in a 1st Gen.

Took the Tacoma to firestone to get an alignment today. Going to pay for the lifetime alignment for 210 tomorrow. Definitly needed an alignment after the lift and new tires. Gonna take pictures with the big camera very soon.

Way cool. If you're planning on a thread with parts and basic description of the job, we'd love to read it!

For the LSPV delete, what all do I need?
I already got the willwood valve and a couple M10 brake line plugs.
If I put it at the rear where the LSPV is, can I get away without making any new brake lines and just use the existing ones?

You'll at the very least have to make one very small line from the new valve to the brake line bracket but otherwise everything else can stay as is

Any of you guys ever fit an IBC tote into your beds? Curious if it’ll fit.

I’ve fit a full pallet back there so there’s a chance.

If you put it at the rear where the LSPV was, you'll still have the giant return line going all the way back to the front. Just something to think about. I wanted to eliminate as much unneeded brake line as I could.

I thought you ditched the return line regardless? Cause the willwood has one in and one out. Hence the plug at the tee on top of the frame where that line goes back into the return.

You really only have to make a single line if you put it up front and then it doesn't get covered in shit from wheeling too and potentially take out the shaft seal when you go to adjust it.

You might even be able to bend the stock line but I chose to have a softline made instead, was like $15

Hm yea I'd like to have it up there instead for those reasons. I just didn't wanna buy a bunch of tools to do brake lines to only have to make one small one.

Do you have a specs on the line you had made I could take to a shop to replicate?

Also did those brass adapters come with the valve?

I could get a measurement for you, I'm like 90% sure I told them I want a 90 on one side and a stright on the other and 22" long. If you refresh I updated that post with the right picture of the line, spaced it earlier I guess. The brass adapters came with this valve, bought it from Front Range Offroad.

Looks like the price went up, but it also comes with the short line stubs, one of which I used and bent to get into the position where my valve sits.

    Gotcha. Thanks.
Looks like the FROR valve has those cause the valve is standard threads.
The willwood one is metric M10's so should thread right in I think.

I might try and bend the stock one first and see if that works. Then I think I can just shorten the return line that gets taken out to use for the short section to the MC.

Wilwood is bubble flare. Stock is double flare. Double flare will leak if you use it on the Wilwood.

Ooh this is good info. Didn't know that.
This is just the flare on the tubing right? The fitting is the same?

The fittings are also listed specifically as bubble flare and double flare. (Actually I think double flare is actually called inverted flare... just to make it more fucking confusing, I'm sure )

Now I remember, the 90* side is an american/different metric fitting since a conversion fitting to our trucks size didn't exist, or wasn't easily found. If you look at the FROR stub lines they have our fitting on one size and an american or the wrong metric fitting that fits into the brass on the other. I brought the stub line to the guys at the hose place and told them to use that thread and flare on the 90* bend side and I brought a Toyota fitting and told them to use one that matched on the straight side.
