uppers aren't in the shit as much since they are higher up on the spindle. So they last a lot longer. The lowers get dunked in everything. Which really comes down to where you drive and such. if you're in the desert and don't see a lot of mud/water/snow shit. Then they will last a lot longer.

Had the bolts just fall out on my first incident, just plain didn't know abotu the issue, that was way back in like 2012?

Broke bolts trying to go up a rock. No idea why, can only assume one or two had fallen out that day.

Then the single cab I LITERALLY checked them with the pry bar method. Nothing seemed amiss. Like 2 weeks later, bam. On the ground. Thankfully didn't take out the brake line or steering rack that time.

Fingered some flex seal into the seam today. It was dark and I had no idea where I was but seemed to do the job.

 

Greased the leaf springs & Fluid filmed the frame

 

What does greasing the leaf springs with that much grease do?

That's a new one for me.

 

It's gonna collect a lot of dust and squeak even more eventually :/

 

Leafs started squeaking a fuck ton after around a year and a half. I used some silicone spray lubricant and that worked great getting rid of the noises, but only lasted a couple weeks, and then the noise came back.

I picked up this extreme heavy duty grease. I expect it to last much longer. I doubt it will get worse, but thanks for your opinion.
