    When it was new with stock pulley it pulled 7.6 psi at sea level, that’s tapered off a bit since I’m nearing rebuild time. I’m sure it would pull 8+ with the 2.1 and a rebuild, maybe even with the 2.2

    Granted, I'm not sure how accurate my gauge is but when it was cold I could get the before mentioned 8# at my elevation. I would expect you to be around there with the 2.2. I wonder if 9# is possible on the 2.1.

    My scan gauge said I was averaging 20.3 mpg while I was on the freeway today. With 33s and 2.5” lift I’ll take it.

    Drove it around for a bit today. Ran great but I will pick up a 2.1" to install at some point.

    Spent most of its life way up in Canada, it’s for a block heater :). Definitely seen people think it’s a hybrid tho :laughing:

    Replaced the worn-out set of aftermarket front rotors (which in turn took place of the warped originals back in 2006) with a set of Centric rotors and fresh Akebono pads. I cleaned a ton of brake dust and grime from the caliper pistons, cleaned and greased the slide pins, caliper shim and the backs of the pads with some hi-temp brake grease. I also cleaned the surface rust off the wheel hub; I had to smack the old rotors lose with my dead-blow mallet. A thin film of copper-based anti-seize between the hub and the back of the rotor hats should ease future rotor removal. I didn't have time to bleed the brake system, that's up next.

    PS: the old pads had several surface cracks and one pad displayed slight separation between the friction material and the backing plate. :eek:

    Those rotors look near to OEM. Thought that might be Advics. Also prepped the hub faces. Fronts newly loaded but rears just serviced with some life still at 176,0000.

    Regret is the wrong way of looking at it. I got the 2.2 before I got the SC. Then found it wouldn't fit on their new designed snout and shaft. Now it was a just a matter of using it since I already had it.

    Best we saw yesterday was 7.3 psi at 2000'. The best I saw with the 2.37" pulley here was ~5.5 psi.

    Was that with the Haltech or when you were running the 7th injector setup? I never saw that much with the original pulley at sea level. I think my best was 7.1.

    Some of it could be the gauge. I see a small difference between the IC7 dash and the Innovate pod gauge.

    I am hoping to see 8.5-9 psi at home. We will see.

    Interesting that you only see 5.5 with stock pulley, could be where the gauge is plumbed I suppose.
    I saw 7.5 pretty regularly when the SC was new, with the 7th injector. So far with the Haltech it seems to max in the low 6’s, with almost 70k miles on the SC and the air filtration issues I had I think the rotor coating is a distant memory which is causing pressure loss.

    The 5.5 number I was seeing is from memory (i.e. could be faulty) and is here in Spokane at 2000'. At home, at sea level, I see 7 psi regularly.

    Some of the lower number performance you are seeing now could be from a conservative tune on the Haltech.

    At nearly 214k miles I'm still on the original rear drums and shoes. If I service them I don't look forward to it, the procedure looks tedious.

    Just take it one step at a time and do 1 side at a time.

    The drums aren't really all that bad. And there are plenty of videos that take it step by step.
