Hey guys, so I've been getting a creaking sound whenever I do and low speed turns on pavement. Sounds like a power steering situation, but any ideas of what to look at first?

I should mention it happens also when I'm parked and cycle the steering slightly. Both ways

    Yup.

    2005 Forester XT

And they're comfy as all get up. Power drivers seat, both with heating elements.

Now I just need to meet up with some guys who know what they're doing when modding seat brackets, etc. :D

The only issue I'll have to get over is the both seat backs don't move forward. So getting into the back of the extra cab is going to be difficult.

    lol

My daughter, if need be, can still get behind the passenger seat and into the back (I met up with another TW member yesterday to test out his Forester XT seats he has in his 98 Tacoma).

And I was thinking back to when was the last time I had an adult in the back of my cab and it's been at least 6 or 7 years. So....

i know the feeling. i RARELY had people riding in the back so i put my 2 12" subs back there, along with my toolbox and just told people and was only me and 1 other person that could get in my truck. worked great until a girl i had a thing for wanted to go out to lunch with a friend and i. sat her in the front middle sit. i wasn't complaining.
oh and my truck is a 5spd :D

Well it won't be me solely doing this mod/install but I will be sure to document it real well.

And if anyone is local (Denver/Boulder/CO Springs) I met this guy that only deals with parting out high end Subarus. He said he gets seats in all the time.

It's probably why I got them so cheap.
