If you run the OME leafs, get their shackle for sure. It was a breeze to install.

And if you don't, Wheelers has a greaseable shackle kit for OEM style bushing leaf springs. Basically anything else. And they work as one would hope.

will these work for my 2002 frame? I know theirs leaf spring difference between the years but do I need to get the correct year shackles? Since im only doing 2 inches with ADD a Leaf i think the stock style ones should be fine no?

Driver side finished today. Went a lot quicker especially with all the space removing the spare tire gives you. 3* shims + CB drop have totally eliminated the low speed vibration I have been dealing with the last couple years. New nylon spring pads and shackle have made the rear end of the truck silent over bumps. Repacking the slip yoke eliminated the clunk when coming to stop. Going to retorque everything in a week or so. All in, pretty successful.

No difference in shackle design. Those aren't greaseable though I think.

Troubleshooting some pulsing brakes. Rebuilt the calipers and added some grease where needed to make sure the front brakes were running as they should. Think I got the problem solved. Time will tell.

Is there a cheaper version of this for bilstein shocks?
    IMG_8703.jpg

Also it seems like I’ll save over $70 on shipping if I piece out this kit on ebay alone vs purchasing from ToyTec.

hit or miss for me. I think most of these trucks reached the point where you gotta either re build or replace the calipers

    Bottom window weatherstripping was hammered
    Old weatherstrip.jpg

4 piece set from EB were packed well unlike some from the dealer prior.
    New weatherstrip .jpg

    Fronts fit well.
    Front replacement.jpg

Filled the gap in OE vertical with a little weatherstrip
    Repair weatherstripping.jpg
    Weatherstrip gap fill.jpg

But rear wasn't shaped right and gapped.
    Gap.jpg

So repainted the OE since it was repairable and reinstalled.

Finally put an actual disconnect from battery to winch today. So I can use it. Had drain issues with it hooked constant. Assuming because it has a wireless remote that isn’t the plug something in to have a wireless remote. Not super happy with how I mounted the disco but time will tell. Should have taken photos but didn’t.

Haven't had issues but do have a caliper rebuild kit ready for proactive rebuild. Pulsing issues for me has always been fixed with rotors, keeping rears adjusted, and gearing downhill. Have you found sticking calipers cause it too? Thought that was more pulling to one side.

Ive had a bunch of first and second gens over the years, my 2007 double cab caliper one morning just got stuck hard in my driveway on the way to work. Ended up just replacing it flat out. My 96 had a brake pulsating issue that was probably rotors but also not sure because i went thru a couple different sets of pads and rotors and it never changed so im assuming faulty calipers idk. Then my 97 tacoma that im restoring had brake issues, and when i bought different pads and rotors then the problem was solved so idk. Tbh if my brakes act up again im gonna replace the calipers and rotors and just be done with it lol

I dunno, as far as I can tell my truck's got the original calipers on it, and the brakes work fine.

Then again, my luck with this truck is incredibly cursed, considering how things are going with the AC.
