triangulating shocks hampers the shock's ability to dampen the leaf pack, but allows for a lot more flex

    looks shmexy

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.

correct, doesn't help for road going abilities or jumping since the shock is at an angle it loses damping properties. BUT..because its at an angle he gets more travel out of the 12'' stroke then he would if it was perpendicular to the axle. So he gets close to the same amount of travel as a 14'' shock(give or take) but on a 12..

and trust me..he doesn't care about road handling or jumping..haha

haha Considering both my old shocks were blown and my expos were way to stiff for having just a spare tire in my hacked up bed, I'd say yes, the ride is MUCH better.

It is now a lot softer due to one leaf taken out of the 64" chevies and a bit more stable due to the stiffer (and not blown lol) shocks.

I am aware of the price and warranty's provided by aftermarket suppliers but I am unsure whether the shops bothered to use OEM or not. Based on the prices im and rates of labor im sure they used "OEM" or say they did but I do not know for sure.

5100 shocks all around, Trailmaster 2in spacers in front, add a leaf and shackels in rear, 33in Super Swampers,
This is where I mounted mine. It's solid and out of the way. Going to put wing nuts on it like someone recommend on here.

you're the second person i've seen with it the opposite way i have it. I have the base of the jack closer to the tail light. Two 3/16 brackets about 2.5 ft. apartwith right angles at each end and whatever bolt fits through the holes in the jack body to secure it. and the thing never budges.

I'd go take a pic, but it's dark and about 25* out...
