What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Had a burned out bulb so i got some HIDs. That was the rational thing to do right?

 

Hell yeah, what HIDS did you get? 6k 8k?

 

Are those telescopic? That would be sweet. Trying to figure out how to add some telescopic lights to the bed so i can "flood" a site around the truck with light.

 

6K, i don't like lots of color. The more white and clear the better. All they had in stock was 6k. I'm happy with it.

 

Do you know the rules for lights in AB? Im not sure about BC either, i wonder how bright you can go

 

I'm not sure of the regs but we can get away with a lot here. I see guys driving around with their light bars on, in the city.

 

Yes they are! Old tripod legs.and that's exactly what they will be for! One on each side of the truck

 

Supposed to be most active after midnight- but should be also going tomorrow night, not as often though. They said there'd be about 1 every minute, and I definitely saw that, if not more

 

And guys driving with blue LEDS as turn signals and side markers, high beams on, purple lights, blue lights, no lights (seriously, don't drivers know that auto dash lights does not mean that your tail lights are not on???), drivers driving down the middle of the road, jacked up Monster Drink trucks dragging down Whyte......yeah, Edmonton drivers get away with murder.

Yeah I heard about 100 every hour. We laid in the bed of the truck and watched as well at around 9:30-10:00 PM EST. We saw about 10 during that half hour. Saw only two really bright good ones though.

 

I went out last night to watch. We average 300 clear days/nights a year and it was cloudy .

 

Very Nice! I have an amp and a sub i need to wire in.

 

Went out to the Everglades to watch the meteor shower and possibly take pics, but fog rolled in...bummer. Saw about three or four while we were out there though...and the Tacoma made a nice wind break since a "cold" front was moving in.

Permanently removing my 1" spacers and grinding the calipers.

 

What spacers are they and are you willing to sell them?

 

Is this due to the tire wear?

 

Only has fronts if that matters
