Good work on that basket. I think any basket looks sick on toppers.

My god you could eat off that thing.

Mind going into a little detail about how you went about cleaning it?

Well the kenwood was on clearance at car toys and it had all the features that i wanted such as HD radio, USB port and so i pulled trigger. I use iheart radio more than pandora and it streams great so far. The quality of sound now over factory is great to me and i listen to heavy metal alot and dance music because my daughter is in cheer and dance and she likes it and it all sounds awsome. I have had Blapunkt and pioneer in the past and this one rates right there for me.

Haha 5 total for the life of the truck and 3 this season. They are really bad we're I live out in the middle of no where and prime hunting location thus the reason for lots of light to see around the 15+ long turns on my road.

Idk what he did but citrus cleaner works well. And of course if you actually mitt the parts you can get to, it turns out very clean. Then hit it with some plastic-safe cleaner wax if you really want that black shine.

Can't remember if that was you in the detail forum, but I hit mine up with citrus degreaser, scrubbed it with toothbrushes, mitt it and then through engine dress on it.

    Looked meh.

Yea when I kind of laid then up there to see how it'd look it looked a bit funny but that was with them just laying on the good, with them elevated they may look better. The mount looks really simple to make actually so I might just make one out of some easily bent material to mock it up and see how it looks.

Mine took like 3 or 4 times to finally get it looking good to be honest. But once it's clean it's easier to keep clean so now I just spray it with citrus and it cleans right up. The key is a good plastic cleaner after the citrus gets the grease and crap off. I use: http://www.novuspolish.com/plastic_clean_shine.html

Jesus. Isnt that what ARB bumpers are for? Not deer but kangaroos. Similar i guess.

I see the OP is running a tube bumper. Not sure where the deer hit, but a tube bumper would be much easier to repair than an ARB in my opinion. The arb could probably take a slow hit with no damage, but someone on here hit a deer with one and needed a new bumper after. You can easily cut a tube off and weld a new one on.

I was under the impression that the arb bumpers were made to smash relatively large animals so your truck didnt have to. How badly was his arb damaged?

    This!
Allthough I've hit one at 55 and another at 45 & the other at 35.. The first one I ever hit which caused me to get the bumper I hit around 60 and the stock metal bumper didn't even budge. I've had no issues with the tube bumper bending or anything either, not even a broken light. Most get hit mid center to driver side so where the stinger meets the top horizontal tube and only thing I get is hair in my winch hook and cable.. Hell the bumper even started skinning one for me!
