Right on. I figured you would have to make a new backing plate, so that's neat. I wired up my switches into the blanks by the 12v outlets, but it's kind of a reach if I need to turn off my lights quickly.

That's why I'm putting not so important things like Rock lights that won't get used everyday down there! & important stuff on my aluminum panel in the vacant radio pocket space. Here's how I did my clock switch panel for in cab winch controls

i asked santa for a single din radio so that i can have a switch panel like this. is it just resting in there or did you still have to get one of those dash kits?

It utilizes the factory radio brackets which you would use for and aftermarket radio as well and bolts into place. It's first gen specific and completely replace the pocket that would come with the install kit do you don't actually need the kit since all it comes with is the pocket basically... All you need is the harness for the new radio that plugs into the factory truck plugs

Finally got rid of those nasty foggy yellow headlights. Very happy, matches the black/silver theme.

I just used the bulbs that came with the headlights. The low beams look AMAZING but the highs scatter. They aren't properly aimed yet so that may play into it. There is a guy on here with PIAA Extreme White bulbs in these housing and his output pics look really good.

Are you resealing them because they got water in them or just as a preventative measure? Post output pics when you get your hids. I want to do a retro but the price is holding me back right now..
