What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

CollegeDude or CollegeTacoma (something like that) in Gunnison, CO was selling his for real cheap.

One of them was pretty messed up but nothing some fiberglass couldn't fix. (98-00s are fiberglass)

buddy went and looked at it and said they have 12,775 on the window but its still a crazy price but im sure there selling point is the supercharger lol.

went to a nice little spot in Potomac Maryland with a buddy of mine. it was about 13 degrees out when we went so the cummins broke the ice first enjoy....next mod to the truck is a relentless rear bumper or 30" rigid in the front on the bumper

 

No problem. I'm not going to bother. I'd rather try and find a set that I can just paint match and bolt on. No experience with glass here unfortunately.

 

Dont know if I posted this yet but it was a couple days ago, swapped out the tires to get better mpgs to save some money for trips this year...

I took off the side steps, I still have the intention of putting them back on though, just wanted to see how it looks without.

How come almost every Tacoma I see doesn't have factory side steps any more? Do you guys not like them?

 

i think for most they don't serve a purpose, it's not like our trucks sit high anyways.
for me, they don't protect like sliders. i wheel too much to have side steps getting in the way

 

Which side steps? The chrome ones? I had some theyre in my garage also...no one wants to buy so im saving for sliders

 

I should directed the question to those who don't off road as much. I know they're useless compared to sliders.

x2, never seen them either. but before i got into wheeling my truck i took off mine because they weren't much use. i didn't sit high enough to use them. and when you take them off the truck appears to sit higher

This past weekend had a friend come over and help me remove the bed.
Sanded and repainted the frame, wheel center caps and wiper arms.
Next up is the rear window frame.
