Thanks for all the helpful tips guys! I've still got my free sample of fluid film lying around. I've just gotta go get some de-icer now. Hopefully it'll solve the issue.

I've been considering painting my bumper too because I'm getting tired of keeping armorall on it even though I get all I want for free lol. What did you use? I have heard of people having good results with regular paint but I was thinking about using vinyl and trim dye out of a spray can.

Do you know if the vinyl and trim dye will get water spots as bad as paint? I did some stuff on my old mustang with satin black paint and it got water spots real bad after a few months.

Put in a new radiator, turns out that it's about an inch too tall so now my front skid doesn't fit...

    Gear Head--
Use Duplicolor vinyl and fabric dye. (see attached)

Plasti-dipped the chrome (bumper and grill) and dyed the valance about 2 weeks ago, has seen rain and mud and has held up great!

Looks good man! I actually have a can of that stuff at home from when I 2 toned the door panels on my last Tacoma about 4 years ago. I also bought a can of plasti-dip a couple weeks ago to mess around with. Just haven't had a chance to try anything yet. The dye matches the dip pretty well! How many cans of the dye did you use for the bumper? 3/4 of a can did 4 coats on both my doors, and then I redid them with another 2 coats a year or so after.
