It's close but not exact. Dark green metallic is even closer.

I think so, at $24 a quart I cant beat that. As long as its close by 85% in color.

Haha, yes with the pliers and tearing it apart method.

It was way too sensitive in snow conditions. Braking distance is a lot better now.

 

it really needs several coats of clear and polished to be able to say. It looks semi-gloss compared to gloss so of course it looks different. I would say the base color is very similar though.

 

I'm going to pick up some tie down straps for hauling scuba gear today.

I have a camper shell that's about 3 inches taller than the truck cab.I built a sleeping platform for road trips back there. Another good use is I can put scuba gear on top the platform and tanks down below. I just need to work on a system for holding the tanks in place.

I'm thinking 4 people, 4 sets of gear for Northern California cold water and 8 plus tanks will weigh around 1500 pounds. I put an add a leaf into the back for the weight too. My truck's an '03 and the springs are getting saggy. I didn't want to spend the money on new leaf packs just yet so I did the add a leaf for now.

I plasti-dipped my gas tank lock/ring.

Other than the fact it looks black (what I'm trying to achieve) it looks like utter shit.

Plasti-dip does not spray smooth and has lots of bubbles and irregularities in the spray pattern. I am not a fan of this stuff.

 

Was the spray thing red or white?
