@taco me elmo - thought you were selling your truck? Hence your for sale thread.

    Either way looks sick.

Went to visit friends for the weekend and my truck got something to remember it by in the form of these...

Then decided to repaint my truck. $15 later at the car wash and still can't get it all off.

few hours ago got hit by a dust storm so bad i couldnt see far enough to drive any faster then 30, but thats ok cause even then i was getting blown off the road, and after the mixture of dust and rain and getting covered in mud it rained so hard we lost sight of the streets. awesome.

Thats what i did to my taco today. Also showed my first curb whos boss. urban 4x4 ftw.

Was a feeler thread and I didnt get any serious offers, just low offers.

If I add more to it and use it as my daily still The mid travel I am adding should retain most of its value for resale anyways.

I dont plan to go nuts with the truck, Just a Mid-Travel setup in front like it is and a new rear setup including Traction bars with my overload removed and a shackle.

Oh and it handles like a dream now with my new Icons, Total Chaos, Diff drop kit and polyurethane bushings in place.

Was it worth the $2k..... YUP :D

Just get either a clear or color matched silicon and apply to the outside. Figure out exactly where the water is coming in. Is the water going between the window trim and canopy or between the window and seal? If its going between the window and seal you probly need a new seal.

Just apply a nice consistent bead along where it leaks. Its always tricky to get a perfect bead with silicon. A damp cloth or wet finger is your best freind when it comes to silicon. Take your time!

Finally decided on a lift and just ordered/got all of the parts!! VERY excited!:)

Yesterday I ordered up a set of front and rear Bilstein 5100's from Downsouth. Being that they were on sale and being able to use the forum discount = bliss.;)

I was also just about to order up a 1.5" AAL kit from Wheelers for the back when the funniest thing happened. I got a pm from CHPTR11 stating that he was going to be selling his brand new 1.5" Wheelers AAL kit (uninstalled) which included new u-bolts as he decided that he would be going a different route instead with a new full leaf kit and in return, gave a me a good deal on the package. Talk about perfect timing! August will be the month the lift gets installed along with new, bigger tires, but I'm undecided at this point which size I'm going to run yet.

I had to take a few pics when we met up. You'd think Dan's truck had 10k on it, it looked brand new.

these i got today from wheelers, hope to install them tomorrow: slotted and cross drilled rotors, pads and extended brake line. [IMG][IMG]

ps: since the pic of the polished wheels, i have upgraded to all-pro coilovers and toytec add a leaf. rides amazing and sits higher. now i just need to save and upgrade to some 33s.

I replaced the steering rack bushings with urethane ones. And I only had to call Will (TacomaMan) only once! And it works! And I didn't break anything. What would have taken you guys two hours – maybe – took me most of the day, but what the hell...I'm learning. And chuckling that I did it myself. I guess I earned the money I saved, right?
