    Replaced both CV shafts today. Was surprised that I was able to do both sides in an hour and a half. Thought I would also mention that the CV shaft bolt is a 35mm not a 36mm like mentioned in so many other threads. Though a 36mm will work a 35mm will fit properly and not damage the edges of the nut.

    As far as tools

    -Flat blade screw driver or chisel (to remove axle nut dust cover)
    -Pliers (to bend and remove cotter pin)
    -35mm socket and Impact gun (to remove axle nut)
    -14mm socket and ratchet (to remove the 4 bolts that hold the lower ball joint to the spindle)
    -19mm socket and wrench (to remove the bottom bolt of the strut assembly to move it out of the way to get the old CV shaft out, and new one in)
    -Pry bar (to pop the CV shafts out of the differential)
    -Rubber mallet or dead blow hammer (to pop the new CV shaft into place)

    Changed the fuel filter today. Long overdue at 123K. :eek:

    The fuel lines are rigid and they fit in very deep into each end of the filter, so it was a little tricky getting the fuel lines far enough apart to take the old one out and the new one in. Besides that it wasn't too bad.

    I think it is easy to overlook this maintenance. It looks like it was definitely time for mine. Here is what came out of the filter
