Ran a 3" on my ranger. Didn't look like shit. Rode fine and wheel the shit out of it. No issues with 90k on that BL

    you cant tell me this:

doesn't look a lot worse than this:

And 3'' body lifts are proven to be unsafe. It increases the shear forces on the body mount bolts, increasing the chance for failure or damage. Plus the potential damage to the cab mount pads. There is no way you can tell me that replacing flat rubber bushings with hard 2 or 3'' lift spacers is a good idea. Because it isn't.

You CANNOT make a positive argument for a large body lift. Anyone who runs one who is fine with it is ignorant, or uneducated.

There is a reason why you see a ton of people on TW removing their large body lifts...then breathing a huge sigh or relief once its finally gone.

pretty sure the TRD logo is copy write protected and if someone makes that for you can be sued.

Painting it on something is one thing... but having a shop machine it is totally different.

Maybe on a tacoma they are unsafe due to the size of the mounts and I will agree a 3" is ugly on a tacoma. Never seen one. The way it worked on the ranger the block sat in replace of stock bushing which was not rubber to begin with and used grade 8 hard ware. I crashed it never any issues. Like I said it all depends on the vehicle many are different. Rangers don't have issues with them.

How am I ignorant? You just jumped the bandwagon and have no experience with a large body lift. You sir can fuck yourself.

So when homer makes stamped grilles with TRD he can be sued? Looks like 80% of the Toyota Tacoma community knows of him. And they vendors that sell TRD decals that are not OEM they have no law suits.

It's not. It's just a font and lettering. I'll be good.

Stamp and decals are not cutouts. The Toyota logo is protected and cannot be duplicated without toyotas consent.

    Cutouts are very different.

But hey looks everyone's in a fighting mood today.. Hahahah

I was only looking out for his fabricators best interest as to look into it.

    Hahahahahaha

    ABS sucks.
Used a pair of simple toggle switches (made in Japan of course!) and mounted them to the blank plate in the dash after moving the clutch switch to the right...

Dude? You alright? I never said you were ignorant.

And the two pictures I posted are of my truck, right out of my build thread...one w/ the body lift, and one without. I removed the 3'' body lift myself that was installed by the previous owner.

I think you might be right here.

As long as your design isn't an exact replica of the same font and script....should be ok I think....least I hope because I want a skid with a TRD cutout too...haha

It's very similar so I might need to switch the R a little or something, but I can use it for my personal skid. Maybe I shouldn't sell them with the logo unless it's radically different.
