This truck is a work truck - not a lot of fancy mod's here, but it's getting the job done!
I got a couple more things done yesterday - the backs of my seats where kinda loose and wobbly, so I took them apart to see if I could tighten them up and sure enough, it was 4 12mm bolts that just needed to be tightened up. Here's the bolts I'm talking about... They get loose if you have people or things crawling over them to get into the back of the ext cab: IMG_20110722_142104_58b1ef802e897c29cab18cf4a24dc48a18d29ffb.jpg

The other mod I did was the good old registration mod: I first took my knife out and cut off all the old stickers - my truck is a 1998, and when I was done shaving off stickers, I found all the way back to 2000 - dang the big pile of stickers just waiting to be stolen...
    IMG_20110722_145922_7dc5a4b9987cdf2150cd9c3eddc2d9f813e5150c.jpg

and no, the cross scratchings on the plate are not from me... I shaved the stickers off without pretending to be Zorro.

The next mod I'm going to do is install some LEDs from oznium (sp) so that I can have some cab lighting... but first, it's off to the JK to see if I can salvage some better looking interior plastic door threshold pieces, center console, visors, and glove box and painting/plastidipping some of it in black to give my interior a blue/black color scheme on white truck. What do you all think?

and the reason my truck is so dirty inside and out is that I work construction and I bought this truck from a painter - any suggestions on how to get house paint off without hurting the truck would be appreciated - and for my seats looking like crap - I scrubbed and vacuumed them and then put seat covers over them to hide the paint blotches and stains... work in progress to bring it back to it's greatness.

It's an 89 Toyota Pickup. I got some stuff done to it.. FJ axles going under it soon.
I'll think about doing a write up...I didn't take any picture while I was doing it..but I have an another piece and an extra nut..only problem is that piece is where the ball strikes the bat..so it's hard as f^ck.

Didnt think he was gonna pull me over cause he was on the other side of the median but he managed to cathc up with me. Good part is I beat the mustang, bad part is, it was a guy I went to highschool with and he didnt cut me no slack>

I did an oil change and I installed a S/C and a 7th injector today. Will finish wiring up the 7th injector module and spark plugs in the AM. Can't wait to drive it!:D

So I started out this morning just going to change out my front t case seal but ounce I got the drive line out I couldn't get that damn nut to loosen, even had a friend come over that was a lot stronger than I am and he almost broke my breaker bar. I'm not kidding my breaker bar looked like a bow an arrow at one point, so I gave up and left my drive line out and started something else. So was I doing something wrong or is that nut just real tight?

Installed the Eibachs, 5100's, and diff drop today! All by myself too (well some help from my boss) First time doing it. Removing the spacer lift was the best decision ever!

The first side took about 4 hours, and the second side only took about 2 hours. They weren't pre assembled so it took a little longer. Learned alot by doing it myself, which IMO is the best way to learn something.

Sounds like my truck. A construction guy had it before me and it had burn marks in the seat from smoking, scratches and dents on the hood and roof among other things. I'm bringing it back to life myself.

About the paint, if you have a wall paper steamer you might want to try that or any kind of steamer for that matter, try it in places not normally seen just as a test if possible. I use one to remove graphics from vehicles and it makes them come off like butter. You also may try a flat razor blade but dull the ends so that you don't catch it on them - be careful trying this.

Added a pair of 130W KCs to the ARB bumper. Purchased them from a fellow TW member. Still have to do the wiring.

I finally washed and scrubbed the bugs off that have been on for a month. Maybe tomorrow I'll put some wax on the beast :)

I have a 3" body lift so it would normally sit around 39.5-40.5" The PO put the body and spacer lift. Im slowly cleaning up the truck.

i thought you did but was to lazy to go back and check your build to know for sure haha still looks good though and at least your frame doesnt just seem to stare at you on your truck, i think the sliders seem to help that matter a bit.
