Finished replacing my front differential gear oil. M#@$F#@#%ing pain in the arse! It made my rear diff and transfer case feel like a breeze to replace.

A few annoyances along the way-

    1) You need to remove the skid plates to get to the front diff.

    2) Whoever did the last gear oil change torqued the hell out of the drain and filler plugs.

    3) The 10mm hex socket/bit I purchased was too long to fit near the filler plug area.

    4) Because of that combo of bad luck I had to use a breaker bar to loosen the plugs and also hack the 10mm hex bit with a dremel because the fitting was just so freaking tight in the filler plug area.

Didn't have time to do my front diff oil but a member on here suggested to buy compressed air to freeze the bolt before removing. For future reference.

I'm not sure if I like the stripes on my truck, It looks mean but a little too sporty for me. I like them from the side but it just doesn't match my front at all

Should I take them off or make this other pattern?
Here is what it looks like now

Do you have a link of these $25 seat covers you speak of? I could use a cheap set while I save up for a expensive set of Wet Okoles :D

Still needs some minor work: cutting down the sleeves, putting a hole in one of the bolts for a lock and paint 'em black.

In the process of ordering my half retros for the hood just like yours :D

Just curious, but did you always have just one retro on the hood? or did you start out with both and then take off the passenger side?

I think I'm going to get the full hood set and see what both look like and take one off if I don't like it

So I woke up this morning and decided to re-plastidip my tailgate emblems due to an accident I got it. Got everything all taped up and sprayed, and then went to peel off around the emblems, and it didn't stick:(. The first time I plastidipped my emblems I had to do it several times. I didn't feel like doing this, so I just decided to de-badge it instead(with some creativity).

I was also going to re-dip the grille, due to a different accident. But once I peeled off all the old plasti-dip which was a total pain in the ass, I decided that I was lazy and like the chrome grille look instead.

Once I got done with this I decided that I wanted to dip the lug nut covers as well. I am eventually going to do the entire rim, just not yet, due to above laziness. So let me know how you think the wheels look, and also what do you think of the new Tacos badge I concocted on the tailgate... Happy Easter for all you egg lovers out there!!

I finally figured out why my truck has been running super rich after I put the blower and 7th injector on. I had hooked the fuel pressure regulator to the boost port like the instructions said and apparently when you install the 7th injector, that is not needed. I hooked the FPR to a regular vacuum port on the intake tube and now my A/F ratio is looking a lot better. It's still a little rich but I have a smaller pulley ordered from URD, which should be here tomorrow, so that should even it up some more.

I started off with just one side, in my mind it seemed like too much to do both (for my tastes), figured if I did want to do both I could just do the other side later...kinda the opposite of what you're doing haha
