I've done mine. It's pretty straight forward stuff. The only real hard part was gettin to the top bell housing bolts and reinstalling the trans and getting things lined up.

Easy enough to do with a LONG extension for your ratchet and the right jack. If you don't have the right jack, make sure to have a couple of guys to keep it balanced on a make shift jack.

I did mine last weekend. It took me about 6 1/2 hours but that includes me running around trying to find a slide hammer to get the pilot bearing out and then fighting to get it to come out because the tool I got was wore out.

I just went and bought a new flywheel so that I didn't have to waste time getting it machined. It was cheap, like $65 bucks.

The easiest way to get the top bolts is to take the shifters out of the trans. and t-case and go through the hole in the floor. Then have a bunch of extensions and have a friend that can guide the socket to the bolts. You can get both top bolts through the shifter holes.

Okay cool. I'll have to see if my dad or some friends have a slide hammer. Its one of the few tools I don't have. I also just bought a flywheel also.

Selling my truck so getting it ready for sale. I'm sure who ever buys it will go through the clutch fast though with the 9lbs of boost from the S/C :D

That is pretty low, I got 21 on the highway stock....

I'm getting 17 with lift, heavier wheels, and bigger tires.

How many miles are on it and what year is it? Also, manual or auto?

There's a simpler method than the slide hammer. Stuff wet paper into the hole to fill the cavity and insert a perfectly sized socket into the hole. Smack it with a hammer and you're done. I had to refill it with more wet paper mid way through. You can also use grease...but it's messier.

Hmm... I'm thinking change the fuel filter, change the spark plugs, run some seafoam through it, and check your air filter. That's all can think of right now. Is there a check engine light on?

Nope no check engine light, I changed the air filter 2 weeks ago to a k&n drop in air filter, I also changed the front, rear diff fluids and the trans case fluids 2 weeks ago. What about the thermostat?

At 130,000 miles, if the thermostat, timing belt, and water pump haven't been changed I'd do those.

They won't necessarily help mpg's, but it's recommended that you get it done at 90,000 miles...

I'd look at changing your plugs and fuel filter. Also maybe your catalytic converters are clogged....
