Thanks! I think I'm really going to love it. I expect the rear to be rough riding with the AAL in the dakars, but it should be really nice with a couple hundred pounds of camping gear in the bed plus my shell.

I was driving through hills for 350 miles in 30mph winds and rain. The last 150 miles were the only flat ones. I'm wanting to say I calculated it wrong haha but I don't think I did.

Me too. Hell, it's a bumper meant to get dragged on the rocks. If it can't survive shipping, we've got bigger issues. ;)

How hard is it to get to the tensioners. I looked around and only could see one from topside. Do you have to go from underneath to get to the others?

Alternator tensioner is on the top right side, power steering is more to the left side but usually have to access from below, AC is pretty much dead center from the bottom

I needed a switch for my dash, at first I had one of the standard illuminated rocker switches hooked up but when it came time to mount it it looked out of place with just one of them. With three blanks to mount switches I decided to pick up a hazard switch assembly at a junk yard and wire it in. I sanded off the red hazard symbol but have not decided if I want to paint something on it or leave it. Did it for less than the switch that I originally got cost and blends in well.

Not at all. Including having to figure out how to mount the cable and then make the bracket, it took me maybe an hour.

I've always used the emergency brake trick but since its starting to get weak I decided that I need to go ahead and do this. It will make things so much more simple, plus the knob can be tightened up so that it holds the rpms in one spot or loosened up to be able to work like the normal throttle.

You can set the motor at like..1200-2200 rpms. Then you can just work the brake and clutch when wheeling.

Also handy to spin up the alternator for winching.
