Finally dropped it off at the shop for paint today. I'm planning on painting the front and rear bumper with duplicolor bed armor while it's in the shop and putting on trd sport wheels when I pick it up

All about the same. Mine was around 110 with no winch.

I think I could handle the extra weight on my truck if it was an elite bumper. I'd love to get in on his GB but I think I'd rather have tires at this point. Especially so I have them all winter for snow wheeling

Hey Monte, what's your recommendation on wheel backspace to fit 285/75/16 tires? I'm ok with a little trimming/hammering but the less the better.

3.75-3.5 is ideal. Can get away with 4" with 285/75s some times. Will depend on the brand and rim width.

Well when shipping is pretty much always 25-50% of the cost of the items, I gotta plan these things out lol.

All this talk about satoshi's. I did this awhile back. Got this sheet off of custom car grills and put it in. It was ~$60 and since I was the first to do a 00 for his site, he gave me a full refund! I'm glad I got a full refund because I kinda fucked it up with trying to attach the mesh to the housing. I have more pics in my build below, but I wouldn't recommend doing it the way I did it

Try looking up a real hardware store or an industrial/metal supply place. You should be able to find the good stuff. Or buy the mesh from Craig.

Has anyone tried to do a color match bug deflector? I was thinking about getting a bug deflector but don't like the unibrow look so if I paint it lunar mist then it would blend in better. Just wondering if anyone has tried and does anyone have one for sale too??

it will be a slightly different color because plastics always end up a different color even when you spray them at the same time(they hold heat different so the paint drys at a slightly different rate) next time youre out and about notice the bumpers on a car sun glass will make it more obvious to you..

I like the 01+ bug deflectors but mine is just the flat bar. I don't want to spend the $50 on one and find out it looks bad. Hopefully someone on here has an old one they don't use

I have one on my truck in my sig pic. Our trucks are the same color but I have a lot more black on mine which is why I like it.
