What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

They look like the Baja XRS

Also wondering this, I'm a bigger guy and most "racing seats" are uncomfortable as all hell, but the bolsters on the seat cushion/back appear to be appropriate for every day use.

Also drained and filled the trans with Redline MT-90.

 

Decals look good cant wait to get my yota life for the tailgate

 

Wow! That thing looks really good! Those wheels and tires are extremely wide, they look so much better than the other ones. I love the side graphic too.

 

Yeah if i were a better decal installer i'm sure they'd look better haha

Bought an URD short shifter.

Now I have to stand at my mailbox and scream at every UPS driver that doesn't bring me my goodies.

I just got tired of driving over the hill to go to the beach and whenever it came time to shift, I lost so much momentum it required an immediate downshift again lol.

I'll do a write-up and a review if anything changes

 

Found out the kid I sold my 95 to wrecked it...

For those of you who had asked about the seats...

They are Baja XRS's, they are a direct replacement for the old seats but you have to buy the brackets from Corbeau to adapt them into the Tacomas. They are a thicker seat than stock but the bracket is lower so it comes out about the same height. The bolsters keep you in the seat but are not so large that it makes getting in and out a pain in the ass. Overall I am pleased with them, the only part that gave me a problem was the seatbelt buckle female portion that I had to bolt to the seat bracket and not the seat, which makes sliding the seat back and forth a little more involved as you have to reposition the buckle to allow the seat to move forward all the way. That's pretty much it. Much better than the junkyard seats I was using.
