Deck plated the airbox on my 2.7. I had removed the elbow to the fender previously, as an intermediate kind of step, and think I noticed a slight difference there, mainly in the form of 4th/5th gear pickup on the freeway. So I decided to spend the $15 and put in the deck plate (the diameter of which is an inch larger than the stock piping), and put the elbow back on. Silicone still drying, so tomorrow I'll pop the battery cable off before I leave and give 'er a test.

Washed, waxed, installed a Yakima fairing, did the deckplate mod, then got it really dirty after testing out the deckplate mod. Shouldn't have washed it first :frusty: Deckplate definitely added some noticeable sound to it. I drove up a mountain road and it was not trying to shift as often as it used to, which is good. So far I'm happy :D

Just washed, waxed, and detailed my truck. I also fixed an annoying squeaking noise that occurred every time I closed a door. Turns out the damn front bumper was coming a tiny bit loose. Tightened that up and took care of the problem.

I also fixed my rear bumper. Had an incident in a parking lot a few weeks ago, so rather than buying a new one I fixed it with a hammer and a hand winch. Looks good as new!

^Awesome job on the bumper pull^

Changed the oil/filter, sanded and painted the wheels, stock skidder, front & rear hubs and started debadging but ran out of time. I guess "Take all the fuc*ing time you want" really means something else:confused::D. CHEERS!
