I started a thread in the tire section but no help at all yet. can a brotha get some help?

I am looking at getting some 265/75 MT's

My truck came with 245/75/16 BFG ko's AT's. I would say they have about 60% tread. Just wanna get an idea what a good price is for these before i make a FS thread.

    Thanks fellas!

IIRC they're <$3 ea. before shipping on RockAuto (unpainted) if you intend on replacing them. Listed under Body-Ext. -> Bumper Filler

I ordered a couple sets to mess around with DRL ideas. :D

Changed the oil/filter, rotated tires, checked and cleaned filter on rear diff breather extension, and extended front diff breather by about a foot. All in all a good day for the taco!

Welded some brackets to my tow hitch and relocated my reverse lights under there. Thinking of how I want to dump my exhaust.

I've heard if you're welding a tank to fill it up with water....don't know if that works or not, just an option...

Completed my first oil change! Did not expect THAT much oil to come out when I took the filter off. There must be some sort of technique to prevent coating your entire forearm in oil?

I gotta say, I can't believe I've been paying someone my hard earned money to do this simple task for me all these years. :frusty:

Quick question. Was I supposed to fill the new filter with oil before installing it, cuz if I was I forgot to.

I've got a 3.4L, I can't speak for 2.7's; but, on mine I can remove my oil filter by reaching into driver's-side wheel-well. so, the oil doesn't spill on my arm or hand, for that matter, since they're not under it; but, to the side of it

the way the filter is situated on the 3.4L's I don't think it's possible to pre-fill it. you have to screw it on at about a 45 degree angle; it would all immediately pour out when you tried to
so... I've never pre-filled a filter with mine... if anyone has, I'd be extremely curious to find out how you defied the laws of gravitation

No you don't have to fill the filter ( i never have and the people at the oil place said he doesn't) but its always good to rub a little oil on the rubber ring on the filter
