    Maybe you need to get an adapter bracket for your 01-04? Are they 5x7s or 6x8s up front?

    It was a direct fit for my 98-00.

    On a side note I see Crutchfield has those speakers for $75/pr right now. That's 25% off.

    01-04's use 5x7s and earlier years used 6.5s.

    It took me a bit of reasearch, arguing with crutchfield, and eventually taking my door panels apart to discover this, and pick up the DB571s

    Oh snap, there it is.

    So maybe some q-forms are in order and avoid the doors all together. Would make wiring a bit simpler and allow me to go to tubular doors and still enjoy some tunes. I don't know how they'd interfere with tubbing though.

    i had just put blue leds behind my gauges in my toyota then 3 nights later this happends...

    hit a ditch jumped a drive way landed sideways rolled twice hit a speedlimit sign and rolled 6 more times after that

    i was the only one in the truck and i only had a gash in my head and a slight concussion so no major injuries my air bags never deployed but the seat belt hand strong and kept me safe

    Air bags don't deploy if you don't hit the front. We don't have side airbags like the new ones.

    Granted I don't know how he hit the ditch, but I'd hope that if it was even a semi-frontal impact it would deploy the airbags.

    Regardless, just glad he walked away with minor injuries.
