What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

turned off the GORRAM automatic door locks when the key goes to ignition.

Taking it to the lake today to get it a little dirty

 

Sand blasted, primed and painted the underside of my bed:

Once I get a replacement gas tank, I'll start putting her back together.

Added a little ol' softopper. I'm diggin it, plus I now have bed coverage, which was badly needed!

 

ended up not being able to go =(

I was going to head up to clear lake with a few buddies to go fishing but didn't manage to get going.

 

And the topper looks great ^^^

If I didn't NEED a hard top occasionally that is 100% the way I'd go

 

These are the only ones I found. they are sweet but I don't remember where I found them or who makes them

I don't see how it would. The kick ups would be like 6-8'' from the body..and kickouts alone already give you a "wing" like look. Those would make you look like a dodo bird trying to fly..

Kick ups would only look good right next to the body, not far way..least IMO..

 

They almost look backwards & the 90 degree kickout seems like it would stick out too far, have to see them on truck i guess but if ya like them then thats all to be said, any protection is better than no protection...

 

what bulbs did you get>

let me rephrase my comment. they look good In that picture but like you said they would probably look funky on the truck.

Cut off looks great! Make sure you get them adjusted right...too low and you're wasting so much potential. Too high and, well, everyone is gonna hate you.

 

Just the morimoto 5000k. It's hard to tell the color of the bulb because that building is a cream color. I got the lenses back on so I'll get more pics up tonight.

Yeah they need to be adjusted, I was just making sure the cutoffs were level before I put the lenses on. I'll tweak them tonight

Yea i did that. I always forget about that.

 

Ordered my King extended C/O Camburg UCA Dakar leaf pack ubolt flip kit extended rear shocks and shock mounts. Now I feel like a crack head waiting for a hit.... Also should be getting my weld on sliders and hybrid front bumper from Brute force anytime now. Looks like I have some work to do very soon.....
