    Wheeled it:

Didn't like that sound coming from the rear:

Gdmnt... Ring and Pinion chewed to crap.

With the help of my wheeling club, we removed the third, cleaned the innards, pulled the ring and rear drive shaft and I was able to limp home under front wheel drive.

Nothing like a 'forced' upgrade to 4.88s eh?

I dropped the oil in my trcuk yesterday installed fresh air filter an oil filter put some fresh syn oil in. Dropped my rear differential fluid. Truck sounds amazing. :) hey do any of you guys believe in the drop in K&N filter? Not the whole cold air intake K&N the one that looks just like stock that drops into the stock air box. my buddy has my same truck and he says it helped with MPG's your thoughts?

I've got almost 90k on my truck and I think the air filter's only been changed MAYBE 3 times? I usually just take it out and vacuum off the dirt and whack it on something until dust stops coming out of it... :notsure:

alot of guys including myself run the aFe pro dry filter.. along w/ the deck plate mod. Sounds nice and lets the engine breathe better

the oil in the K&N can sometimes screw w/ our MAF sensor

I need to replace my filter.... After the trail runs I did its covered. Knocked it against the pavement for a couple of minutes and dirt was still falling out!

Ive been using the KnN filter for about 40,000 miles now. I cleaned my MAFS and could see no sign at all of oil on any of the components. You get a nice growl at first but after a little while that goes away and i cant attest to any milage gains but i dont mind cleaning it and i dont have to buy filters so WTH.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Did you sell your truck or did you really order Reg Cab sliders for an Extra cab

Good thing I didn't make them bolt on they would of never fit that truck.
