grease the o ring on the oil filter it makes it so it doesnt stick as bad and the filter should be decent hand tight but everyones hand tight is diff.. see if that helps next time and yeah the grip tapes are nice :p

Nice, i always grease the o-ring when i change my oil and always hand tight.

Are you talking about real grip tape to remove it or are you talking about the FRAM filters?

I will try and get one done soon. Got some adjusting to do. Have one belt that's squeeling and got to get it fixed first.

I paid $450 for the S/C and around $40.00 for new vacuum lines. ;)

WOW that is way high. I believe you can buy a new one for less than that and install it yourself. It took me about 4hrs last night to install mine and it was a relatively simple process.

And by the way, this guy wants your intake for his truck.

I used to get right at about 300 miles ( + or - a little depending on driving conditions) before the light would come on. Most of my driving always consists of 50/50 highway and in town driving. With the bigger tires taken into effect and calculated doing the error conversion, I now get 280 miles a tank before the light comes on, so roughly 2 miles less per gallon or so.

    Also, welcome to TW!
