What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

yep stock gears, no rubbing unless my wheels are turned all the way to one side and im on a rock then it will rub on the fender flare. i just wished better mpgs

 

What exactly did you do? Mine rattles as well.

 

Maybe try reversing the polarity if you haven't already, led's are polarity sensitive. There is mention of that in the link.

Only require right connect to the positive (+) and negative (-) side. Please try to reverse the polarity of the LED light if you found that the LED light is not working properly after installation

 

Mine flickered, or didn't work when I initially plugged them in. Switch/rotate em around and wiggle them into the socket until they light up and they should be good to go.... that's how mine worked out anyway. Still lighting up like champs

 

ehh not a big fan of the 255s haha. do they get same mpgs as 265s? I guess these will have to do for now unless i find some 265/75s

Had some brake work done today, fluid flush, Centric rotors and semimetallic pads, added the Wheeler's rear brake line extension. Brakes are much more responsive.

 

I'm considering getting LED reverse lights, but stories like this make me question the quality. Then again, I can't see anything with my stock lights, so things can only get better from here!


Spent yesterday tearing apart my t cases and putting them back together. Today, I'll finish the job and go for a test drive!

 

On mine, I took a clamp and squeezed the track rails on the front and rear of the seat to tighten the track. Worked for me!

 

Interesting marketing... quasi-promotion of drinking beer while recovering vehicles/using winches.

Bumpers look awesome. How heavy is the front?

 

I'm not sure since I didn't think to weigh it, but I put it on by myself so I would say less than 100 lbs.
