Not even a little? We've had snow in Austin, Tx about 2 years ago and about 2 years before that. It's seems that every 2-3 years we get a good "dusting". The snow from 2 years ago was a good inch or 2. Typically we get snow 1 day out of the year and it typically melts the next day. Anyway, I can't believe it hasn't snowed in Georgia since 89 and it has in south/ central Texas.

It's not the snow that makes things rusty, it's the salt they treat the roads with that's killer

It's the V6. Just trying to figure out if the engine is a lost cause or not. The seller parked it the moment he found the water. Normally I wouldn't bother with it, but he has about 80% of the trail mods I want already done to it. For the price he's asking I would be comfortable putting almost 2k into the engine as I would still be way ahead.

Sprayed the moving parts on the ebrake stuff under the truck with some penetrant because the E-brake light was staying on so going to attempt to adjust the cable later, just need to figure if it needs tightened or loosened

Mine did that too, sprayed all moving parts and added a second return spring to the cable underneath, I can post a pic if you need it. I did not need to adjust any cables, they just needed some help in my case.

Probably tighten. It should pull out about 12-14 clicks if I remember correctly.

Yeah i get 4 or 5 clicks at most, it seems like the spring underneath should be pulling with more tension away from the cab

    Bone stock. For now.
I ordered some new blinker assemblies, so when they came in I decided to cut the light mounts off the old housings and move them to the corner lights. Worked like a charm! Now I'm trying to find some LED spots to mount in the old location. I may even figure a way to mount them IN the old housing to keep the beautiful factory look. Anybody got any suggestions?

Might want to check the brake fluid as well, as the e-brake light is also an indicator that your fluid is low. Mine did that too, filled it up to the line and she's golden

Ugh, usually when your brake fluid is low...that usually means you need brakes. Unless you have a brake fluid leak... As your pads wear, the level of fluid in your resevoir will drop. Now, since you added fluid...when you compress your caliper piston back...you gonna have brake fluid run out and all over the ground.

Good, i want the price to drop another $10.

And if she asks tell her your stock ones are broken and you need new ones, and these are cheaper than OEM. Honestly it could be true for the front skid.

I love mine. If she asks/ notices just tell her they protect very expensive and near irreplacable components underneath the truck...:D
