I'd do it just for the plug wires. I'm pretty sure I paid 60 for those alone. Although that was two years ago so I don't remember.

The OEM steering rack, tie rod ends and PS fluid cooler came from Advance Auto Parts. I had purchased a new pressure line but ended up using the old one and returned it, saving $135.

I'm pretty sure they aren't rebuildable, in which case i would pass.

Not rebuildable. I have a set in with my spare parts. You have to replace the whole shock and $200+ for the shocks. They leak because the shock body is probably cracked all the way down. That's why I never used mine....its a common thing.

A can of flex seal should fix them right up then! And it would turn the truck into a boat too.

Psh don't fix it if it's just the ABS that went out & your brakes work fine.
Non-ABS brakes are the best, especially in snow

I get brake chatter at time and i would like it to go away. Plus if I ever sell it I would like it to be working.

3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
Can you take the Coilover coil springs and put them to use on a different set of shocks? Like Bilsteins? I think most Coilovers use the coils that are "Flat" at each end of the coil. My Eibachs had one flat side and one coiled side. But is it possible to take the seat plate off the Coilover and stick it on an extended length shock so that the coil will now sit flush?

I've never had actual Coilovers so I'm not sure if what I'm asking is possible. Just curious

Honestly I don't think anyone has tried. I wouldn't even bother with them man. Those old fabtech coils aren't really any good anyway. I could go into more details but that would be a lot of typing.......lol

From experience the fabtech coils won't fit directly with 5100s. I do remember the coil being like 2-3 inches longer than the 881s. I can't remember exactly if it was the seat plate or what. Anyways I ended up with I went 881s and 5100s and the truck rides so much better.

Holy shit. What's holding the rear end of the frame down? Anvil/strap?

No, but that's not a bad idea. :anonymous: Can't see it from that angle, but I have 120lbs of plates sitting on the crossmember on either side of the tcase. Gonna add some more, it's sketchy enough as it is. If I had a 3.4L it would've tipped over with the 120lbs I already have on there. It's that close.

If we notice you not posting for a while, we'll send the coroner. ;) Seriously, dude, move those plates back or something before you touch that assembly again. We already have enough mouth-breathing tards on this site and don't need another.
