Herculiner is great for those 'step' areas. Whatever they use for texturing in the mixture (little bits of polyethylene foam?) is really nice for added grip. Most (or all?) other bedliners have a hard texture.

But that's about all I'd use it for. It's better than regular paint, but doesn't hold up to hard hits (tends to peel) as well has other bedliners and will wear off after an extended period.

Rustoleum is hard, but at the same time it has a grittyness to it. Has worked great except for when it had and inch of ice on it....

I wasn't impressed with rustoleum bed liner life. Didn't last long and now my sliders are smooth as hell like slippery and the bed liner didn't last long. But what can ya expect I guess from a rattle can..dupilcolor has been a tad better..but..whatever haha I just need to repaint mine in general..

It's on the bumper, bed rails, and cb antenna mount as well. Mine seems to have plenty of grip for me :notsure:

I don't expect much out of any paint from a spray can that's getting hit with everything the tire throws up....

It's held up great on everything but the sliders.

Didn't last long for me on places of high use. Like where just my leg rubbed the slider when I got in the truck. Became smooth as a baby's butt. Then with as much as I stand on them and my bro does they are just slick

Hmm, odd... The part that I step on every time I enter the truck is no different then the rest of the sliders...
I know many people that have done that. It would bug me though haha

It isn't finished yet. It will suit my needs when I get a LT set up on there. At the price I got it custom fabbed for....I would be shooting myself in the face for saying no. Like I said it isn't finished yet. I wanted it simple. Simple is what I got. Problem?

Gotcha, didn't know you were going LT. It didn't look finished, just looks like it sticks out really far. But with some fiberglass fenders/front clip I can understand

(might still be a little long for fiberglass fenders, but would probably work well for a '05 front clip IMO. Hard to tell.)

I'm looking at some Glassworks right now and some Engage LT. Can't decide to go 4" or 6"....I'm hooked up through a couple buddies in town for all my body armor needs. As stated...I would be a complete idiot to pass up the deal I got. As with every guy, and gal, on here my build is slow. I'm still going to school, working, and have family. So it will take time...but it will look badass when I'm done with it.

It isn't a bad thing if the bumper is wide, if I hit something it will deflect it without damaging the body. Hence body armor.
