What did you have to do to make them fit the extra cab
Ive seen people putting them on double cabs but not extra cabs
And did you just bolt it through the roof or what? Thanks

Got all of my switches in today. Now I just have to wait for a warm day to wire everything in the truck....

Went for a little romp in the 6.5in. of snow we got yesterday with some friends (97 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 99 Subaru Forester, and my 95 Tacoma). Had some fun in 1st gear with 4WD on. With my crappy radials even a bed full of snow and 4WD lets me get loose when I want. We were drifting and sliding like a bunch of kids in a huge empty parking lot with nary a light pole to be found (don't wanna smash a panel or bumper). Finally our fun was ended when the campus police showed up, everyone else was defrosting their windshields and I was in the middle of a huge slide around the Cherokee. Needless to say I was pulled over first and was told after a good 10 mins. to have a nice night and to "stop doing doughnuts" on school campus property. Overall, the police were very kind and let us go with just verbal warnings. Anyway, that is what I did with my Tacoma yesterday. The snow buildup in the lot I parked in is less than the one I was romping in.

Where do I get such beautiful switches? Your build amazes me every time I see it, I wish I had more cash.

It has to be trimmed down a few inches but that's it, I put one on a doublecab the same day I did mine. But yea just keep the stock bolts and go get nuts to fit them then bolt the tracks to the roof and silicone each one as you go!

Correction, that's a lot of switches... Haha

All I have right now are fogs. I just went ahead and got the switches and will wire them all up so all I'll have to do when I get lights is solder the positive wire the the relay box and find a ground.
