What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Where did you get them from? When I do mine, I'm probably gonna dremel out the middle pillar completely to get MY way. No one would know it's off center, but I would...and that pisses me off. It looks good. Are there different colors?

 

ya. they are from oznium or however you say it. there are quite a few different choices




also 16ft of led lights are on their way. i ordered one of the rolls...decided my 4 strips werent enough

I threw the lights in there just so i could see how it looked, when i backed out the dropped, didn't feel like straightening them for the pic.

What did I do to my Tacoma today? While loosening nuts to replace my thermostat, I snapped a stud on the water inlet. PB blaster, small 3/8 ratchet, engine warm, and I still managed to break the thing. 30 minute job will now be my all day project....Frigger

 

I was doing the same thing a couple months back. I ended up stripping the bolt head closest to the water pump. Went from being a simple job to lasting a couple hours too long.

 

what did you do to get your cb to fit like that? i have the same one and when i put it there it suck out to the point where it was damn near touching the shifter in park.

 

cut out the back of the trim piece.

 

Also, get a 90' elbow for the antenna hookup on the back of the cb, and take a heat gun or a torch (at your own risk) and slightly heat up the plastic ductwork which is located behind the dash in this area. You can heat up the plastic making it pliable and gently push it in wit hthe butt end of a screwdriver. That will allow you to get it completly flush with the radio bezel.

 

I did this with the 90* elbow, mine sits pretty flush

 

I received my dual gauge pod today. As mentioned, the color isn't exact, but I don't mind.
