Gonna bite the bullet and buy some direct fit MagnaFlow Cats but a little confused if I need 50 states legal?

I called magnaflow and they said "heavy grade" wont work (which I knew). But they also have California emissions cats that are 49 states legal that are OEM grade, which is the type they said I need. The magnaflow rep said the 50 states legal cats are only for those who have vehicles REGISTERED in California, so since im in Texas all I would need is the California Emissions OEM Grade Catalytic converters.

can anyone confirm this???

 

Wait till you flex that bish I thought I got most my trimming done, then I went out to play this weekend and boy was I wrong...lol. It isnt too bad since I got most of it, but it could still use some more trimming on the flares

 

I'm still fixing rubbing with 33"s. Cut a little here, cut a little there...





Did a gauge pillar test fit. It fits great.

 

went by 4wheel parts today to get "D" ring shackles for my bumper. I don't know why but there were 7 Chevy double cabs, all lifted atleast 6" and all had 35's with massive wheels. I never felt like I had a baby truck until I was parked next all these chevys. I walked out of the store and the other trucks made mine look like a stock 5 looger. Although, I still had more clearance than 5 out of the 7

 

It'll last longer too

 

And it can go farther when offroading!

 

Ya pretty simple. Find your reverse lights in your tail lights. Cut the power wire going to it than run the power to the LEDs. After that ground it to the frame. Pretty simple

I am running a 3" lift with Camburg UCA but that doesn't do anything for when it cycles up, and also a 1" BL.

 

pretty sure thats right.. I'm in cali and whenever i order exhaust stuff i have to make sure its 50 State legal only cause i live in cali..

finally bought a hilift today... mainly cuz it was a smoking deal. anyone mount it in the bed long ways, next to the bed rail? if so howd you do it?!

 

i got the locking hi lift mount. I think it would work either way in the bed long ways or short ways. I saw a few negative reviews for the locking mount on Amazon but i love it so far.. the lock is a POS and i could break it with some mini channel locks if i wanted but its more of just a deterrent. The good thing about the mount in my opinion is that it holds the handle and the jack together so there is no rattling (don't need the hi lift jack rubber isolator thing)
