Feel like doing a DIY how to thread on it? I need to do mine too. If you go have those bearings pressed at a shop, let me know which shop. I'm in sac and need to do my front bearings. Still looking for a shop but I want to do most of it myself.

Can't really take a pic of my new mod.......re-gear. I wish this had been the first thing I ever did to my truck.

I didn't think about gears at all when I bought it. Later, I was trying to figure out why it bogged down on hills. Turns out some derelict at Toyota put 3.91 gears in a V6 automatic.

Prior to getting the work done, I debated the whole 4.56 vs 4.88 vs mpg thing, reading thousands of posts. I got 4.88s. I don't regret it at all. I'm glad I didn't go with 4.56.
I'd probably be happy with 5.29's.

If you feel like your truck needs bigger gears, DO IT! And get the big f-ing ones.

    Thanks man!

It's perfectly stable. It's still fastened on the top to the bumper, and on the bottom to the subframe. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

It looks badass plus gives you some increased approach angle. Did you derp the bumper or paint it? Also, if you could find a front receiver, you could run a winch on a removable mount.
