I messed around with the truck last night, removing a pull handle that was previously installed to help open the hood due to an aftermarket mesh grill being added. I have taken the grill off and even with it on I just reached in between the gap of the hood and grill and moved the latch over :) Next up I have to decide if I am keeping the bull bar or not!

So I gave my taco a little test this morning. I use to max out at 124-125 hp. This morning I got it to 131 hp but ran out of room and had to slow down. So yeah there is an increase in power. Really happy with my headers.

I was actually contemplating waiting for the new bfg at's to come out. However, who knows if they will even offer them in a 33x10.5 size. Not a big market in that size, or 15" wheels in general. Plus October is pretty far away

I have a bull bar on my 00 and I like the look of it on mine (because it covers up the ugly bumper) but I'm not too fond of how they look on 2001+ since your bumper doesn't look like a dumb grin

If only I had known about this site before buying the bull bar (which I bought a week after I got the truck because of how ugly the front was) so I could've gone a different route like using that money for a 01-04 front end conversion
and I think with the satoshi and camper shell it makes it look a little bit more beefy than just a normal DD truck
