Tryin to sell you new air filter oil change and a new cabin air filter probably
Thats what they tried to sell me and when i said there is no cabin air filter for my year truck the guy said well have a nice day and i left

 

Ah, of course. Well that was nice of them. I told them I work at a toyota dealership and just had the oil change done.

I'm surprised they didn't see the leaky cv boot.

 

I received my new cv's today. Box was partially torn, and turns out the thin metal lip towards the outside is bent on both. Should I just bend it back and call it good or take them in to get replaced?

 

I got the mv50, tapping to a 1/4 is the only option as far as I know. I decided to just live with it until I get a bigger compressor.

Put on my eibach coils and a 2 inch shackle yesterday, picking up tires today

 

I mocked up my relay mounting plate. Going to mount it against the fender next to the battery. I decided I am going to drill and put a mounting screw for up to 6 relays. I only have two to mount now, but I was it to be super easy to add to it later. Pics tonight when I get it cut, drilled and painted.

 

I always prefer to go through the hood for tire changes/spare location. You get to really "know" the truck that way.

One of the final straws for me on having a shop change my oil was when I drove away from one of them, heard a rattling, pulled over, and pulled a wrench out of my engine compartment. Went back and said "This is yours, I have my own I can leave under my hood."

 

Not sure if that's as bad as oil changers putting 110psi in my km2's!!!

I overheard some guy getting air at a gas station telling his girlfriend that he usually runs 50 psi in his car tires so that's what she should run. I really wanted to stop him but nah.

Sure they maybe could handle 50 psi, but they are gonna ride and wear like shit. I doubt she would notice anyway, they were some rubber bands wrapped around gangster chrome rims.

 

Eh you don't know that. A lot of factors dictate proper tire pressure. And you know 0 of them with her tires/rims

We ran 110psi on the rigs up north..
