    IMO Power ECT wouldn't have any impact in his situation.. Blue Plug Mod ftw!


    Today I dropped the truck off for the frame inspection getting done tomorrow.. Pretty sure it'll pass, buuuut I can hope right.. :pray:

    I'm guessing he's talking about just unplugging the connector for the add actuator, which is another way to do the 2 lo mod without cutting anything

    The ECT button changes the shift points for the trans, it'll stay in a lower gear for longer before it upshifts to the next gear, they say it's for towing..

    ECT is something else.

    This allows you to use low range in 2Wdbfor going up super steep yet tactile surfaces. You get the toque of extra low gearing but not the drive train binding of 4wd from the tactile surface.
