Do you plan on selling your truck once you fully build it and cash out for retirement or something?

Your truck is very nice I can't imagine ever selling mine after all the love I've put into it.

Plus think of all the money you are wasting from the BRAND NEW tires and wheels. It just seems silly, you will hate the small useless bed and want an extra cab again.

 

So I have the opportunity to buy a near new clamshell with 5.29's for cheap. I am going to re gear soon once I add the bed cage, swing out and rtt. But I was thinking 4.88's.

Keep in mind I'm running 315's, do those of you with gears think the 5.29s will be to much for the highway?

 

I just want a 01-04 v6 so bad. But I do want it to be 4wd and 5spd too

 

I am running 4:88's with 35's. V6 5spd. Wish I would have gone 5:29's

Yeah I'm just worried about highway with my 315's. Eventually I will get 15 or 17" wheels and get true 35s.

I think I will buy it, I can get a complete front clamshell with 5.29s, one brand new cv and one used cv for $450

 

So... When does the front hold its own weight?

 

I'm at 3000 rpm at about 65mph. And 3300ish for 75ish. With a manual. Be a tad lower with an auto

so for you since the 315s are different, would be just a hair higher then mine..not even noticeable really.

So it'll be about the same as me. my speedo is about 10mph off at 65.

so...don't expect mpgs haha but it is epic offroad. For as heavy as my truck is it gives it balls again. It'll change how you drive it too, it'll love sitting at 3k. That'll be its happy place. so get used to it haha

I am. In the meantime...I'm putting new flexplate in , front and rear main oil seals, oil pan gaskets, coilovers will be here next week from getting a complete rebuild, satoshi will be here soon, got my new ucas in the mail today, and I got to start building my new headlights

 

Awesome can't wait to get them!! Should have it all right after halloween
