Yes it's an 85!! I wanted the 22r-e and an automatic but settled for the r and manual. It was to clean to pass up. $2200 they still hold some value out here, I'll probably end up selling it after winter when my truck is done.

Went and picked up the rebuilt center section for the daughter's 4Runner, can't imagine why it was howling?

Rear, but I had it rebuilt by Fort Worth Gear and Axle this week. $465 turn key, should be good for another 200,000.

Finished the winch install. It works ok. Gonna get a new cable ASAP. The cable had some links from being wound poorly. likely pick up a factor 55 puck at some point.

My cable lasted 1 use before it was kinked to hell. Went with synthetic and cut the weight of that beast probably in half.

Yeah, well money is tight right now, so it may be a bit before I can go that route. But it is on the menu :)

I like the look of that top plate on the winch, did that come with it?
And, definitely go with synthetic, you won't regret it. Looks good man!

Yeah! Comes like that. Gives it a cleanish look. My hella 500's should cover up the poor cutting too :)

Haha I can only imagine what my home owners association would say  good idea though. I'll mess around with that. Need to get a weighted line deadner before I use it - don't want that f$&@er hitting anyone in the face. Oh and the hardware I have is a little sketch too. Nuts are grade 'a'

Prolly gonna be a few weeks til it is truly functional.

Yes, it comes on the winch. It's pretty flimsy though.

Not yet, likely come tomorrow if I had to make a guess. Btw thanks again for doing that, stoked to pop it on.

I'll post a pic when mounted.

I've loved synthetic ever since I've had one break right next to me. Just coiled up into a nice little pile. Cable probably would have taken me out in that instance.
