What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Yeah, the only load in that picture is the plastic bed liner, ARE DCU shell and a few random liquids like a quart of oil, some coolant, jumper cables, snow chains.

My current plan is an OME kit, but I'm still a little unsure if I need or want a lift. I don't plan on a tire wider than 265 (in fact, I'd rather have a 235/85R16, but the KO2's aren't offered in that), so I'm not sure if it's worth getting the truck up any higher.

 

Jason I have some Deaver AAL that will help your sag. $40 I'm in Petaluma.

 

Didn't know you were so close Jason, if your ever down by Morgan hill, I have my old leaf springs that are surely in better condition than yours not sure what they are worth? But pop in jimmy's aal and you'll have a decent setup.

Nothing yet, but I am picking up my 2004 double cab over the weekend! Counting down by the hour, I CANNOT WAIT! Like being an 8 year old boy on Christmas morning waiting to open presents lol.
But, here it is, all pretty looking and only 75k miles on the odo.

Yep, another one I looked at had 127k and it sold before I could get it, but I am glad it did because I found one with lower miles and the color I wanted. The other one was red and I hate red, but black is one of my favorite colors so this one will be perfect. OMG Saturday get here already!

Awesome man! I had read that thread and another. I hadn't planned on new tires at the time, so I guess I didnt retain the dates. I like the older style better (These look pretty.. instead of a rugged look). They still look bad ass on JasonLee's truck! lol

 

Yes 5.29s with full axle rebuilds. New OEM LBJ's, EBC stage 3 kit green stuff pads, flush mount LED reverse lights, spidertrax 1.25 spacers. The biggest thing besides the gears is cutting my fenders and firewall tub, I will be worthless and probably won't go to hollister if it's not tubbed yet.

 

How much better are they than second gens?
