hahaha thanks, man! :) I only used two coats and less than one can since it's only temporary for me.... I would suggest AT LEAST 4 coats if you want it to last, and more wouldn't hurt.

Prepared her for badlands on saturday and sunday! Toys for tots run!

New rear DS u-joint, greased joints, new rear brakes, rear brake line, checked fluids, cleaned it a little, lowered my tire PSI to 7, new battery terminals, charged my battery, torqued all suspension bolts again, cleaned my trash out, fixed a lighting isue maybe? Tried wiring up my aftermarket lights, tightened the front bumper replaced my pinion guard bolts.. So much fun.

Pics and video to follow hopefully Monday

Got some Goodyear Authority's mounted on the Tacoma, changed the oil and installed a scangauge. My poor Cherokee has a 2" lift and is still lower than the stock Tacoma. :-(

They're from walmart. $150.50 a piece they look bitchin and they have very little howl. We're getting a good snow right now so I'll get to test them out this weekend, all the blocks are siped so they should have good cold weather traction.

Balanced tires, power steering flush, repaired auxiliary outlet, replaced battery, tightened valve cover bolts, cleaned throttle body...

...and found that the RF wheel bearing is loose and rear drums are out-of-round. Fun times.

Mine doesn't make any noise yet and I have to haul an engine down to Virginia, so I think I can ride on it for the weekend. I guess that will be my project for next week.

Yeah, I'm feeling lazy about fixing it, but now that it's getting colder I might have to if it keeps up.
I ordered 4 Bilstiens, Eibach springs, and OME leafsprings to accomplish 2.5", plus all the other stuff I'll need. Got great service from DownSouth Motorsports, they're waiting for the leaf springs to come in before they ship it all to me.

    Replaced the carrier bearing.

Huzzah, the annoying suck down feeling/tink noise when shifting from park to reverse... GONE!

I hated that it sounded like a rock hitting a metal pole (kinda tink noise) everytime i when from P-R and the 70mph vibes are gone.

I wanna say Eibachs that give me 3" lift, but the truth is they're the stock coils with a coat of OEM Dodge/Chrysler engine enamel... I like the shade of blue....;)
