Ya trans is easy to solid mount. Motor mounts a pain. Expecially with 4wd. Ill be replacing mine next week with the famous fab ones

Do you have an engine and/or cab cage tied to the frame yet? If not...I would avoid doing solid mounts until you do. Without tying the frame rails together the vibrations and lack of movement will start tearing the perches off the frame.

Yeah I've checked out everything the only noticeable play was in the rack, so I out new bushings and it seamed to help alittle. I might be over exaggerating a little bit, but it just seams to be wandering a lot, and again it might just be me, everything else is in spec I just got an alignment and everything went ok.. :/

I actually like the semi-solid trans mount (4x innovation). But what's different on your engine mounts? The picture you posted looks like a factory isolator?

The TG ones have the rubber piece in em so they aren't fully solid.

Pliny, what do you mean by not that hard? To me changing oil and other basic stiff isnt that hard but somebody like Blackdawg seems like he swaps ball joints and steering racks for fun

    :notsure:

Swaping the stock ones for essentially stock ones..not hard.

The TG ones are taller though and it's abitch to get them lined up and wrenched in.

That and Timmy has small hands like a women that fit in there better down in the bay to get a wrench on them.

Ahhh...I like that. Clever. You get the best of both worlds...still have an isolator to help with vibes and a big-ol-bolt to sammich it together

TG ones are SHORTER overall...that's why it drops the fan down and tickles the lower shroud...least mine did.

And girl hands are awesome for working on Toyota's that were designed my little Asian people.
