I have a pic or two in my build thread. I'm running a mini truck transmission and gear drive cases so it will be a little different than tacoma running gear. I already had dual cases in the tacoma so it was straightforward to swap the rear case.

Took less than an hour to get down to the knock sensors this time. Hopefully this new sensor does the trick. There was some dirt in the plug of the old sensor so maybe it was trippy.

Ya I've been searching his build, one of the best detailed builds.

Agreed. I usually go to his build or Box rockets if I'm in the need for answers. Typically find it out in one of those two lol

Sweet. Now I'm throwing codes for both knock sensors.

Took my spare tire and holder off since a 265 would do me no good if I had a flat lol

Strange. Maybe the harness is messed up somewhere? Maybe the connector at the ECU has a loose connection or something. I know when I soldered in the wires for my 7th injector, I was afraid I was going to mess up other connections while pulling on the harness and stuff.

After reading a lot and finally understanding exactly what those knock sensors are doing, I'm almost positive my engine is done for. As the knock sensors detect knock, they retard the timing. Exactly what is happening to me at about 3000 rpm or more pulling up a hill. The timing is retarded so much that it starts flat lining and cutting power. If I stay in the gas long enough (which I have to because I have no power), the CEL will come on. Guaranteed. It will also come on randomly. I think I'm just driving around pinging and I can't hear it. So my conclusion is the knock sensors are good, the engine is bad.

I guess I will put the supercharger up for sale and look at engine options. I would like to do that 6bt but damn it's a heavy engine!
