Some run tall. the 265/75r16 bfg run a little bigger than most 265s. The 255/85r16 run a little tall too

Not always the case. They can run tall too. It's more dependent on rim specs too.

Unless it's 4th or 5th gen 4Runner then you'll have to tub. 3rd gen is the same as ours.

My dad has 305/70r17 on his 2nd gen tacoma Just had to chop the body mount and lower fender. Hell on 35s for a 2nd gen tacoma it's just a cab mount chop and full fender trim.

You 15 inch rimmer you  (I wanted 15s for my Tacoma too)

I bought a 4th gen. There is a lot more involved with fitting 35s on a 4runner vs Tacoma (2nd gen), but I still dont think you have to tub. As a matter of fact, I think that the body mount prevents being able to tub. Most run 3 inch sus. lift, and a 1-1.5'' body lift with body mount chop... Idk, Im not going 35x12.50 anytime soon anyway.

Got the Viper alarm system I've been carrying around in my truck for the past month installed yesterday. Had it professionally installed just because Viper offers lifetime warranty for having it done by a professional. Very happy with it

Anyone have 4xinno sliders with square tubing installed? I haven't seen a picture of their square tube model and I'd like to see before I buy

Edit- I think the square tubing is just the long bar that connects everything. Not the actually sliders

    I see factory seatbelts :notsure:

Putting harnesses in an uncaged truck is a deathwish. If you roll...the cab smashes...and you die. No where for your body to go.

Out of curiosity how is it any different than a regular seatbelt? Not trying to start a pissing match, just a legitimate question. The truck will be getting an exo cage but I was planning on building a harness bar that bolts into the existing seatbelt holes and runs behind the seats at shoulder level.

Very different. Factory belt is a single harness from the bottom of the hip up and over to the opposite shoulder. In crunch situations your body can slide horizontal. With 4/5/6 point harnesses, you're stuck. There's no moving. That's why I only have aftermarket lapbelts in my truck at the moment. Just to keep my hips planted in spirited offroading, but still can move above my abdomen freely.

When I had my caged track car...there was zero movement available with harnesses. Hell it's a bitch to just adjust the volume on the radio if the seat wasn't positioned correctly. Forget getting anything out of the glovebox. With a regular seatbelt, you can move pretty freely, even if the seatbelt is locked.

I won't go into an exo-cage discussion...I'll just end up pissing someone off. I'll just say if its my truck and my life on the line, I'll never put 4/5/6 point harness in anything but a vehicle with a properly designed internal cage.

Thanks, that makes sense. I will agree with you on the exo vs. internal but I'm not doing any go-fast at all. This will be a purely low speed rock crawling oriented build. The intended purpose will be mainly to save the cab (and of course myself). But I am always open to advice and opinions
