what i have to do is turn the key to the left a little bit and then to the right to unlock it. works perfect

So this door lock issue: I used to have it with my door but WD40 fixed it. Now I have it with my ignition! No its not a case of the steering wheel is locked, and both keys do it so I dont think its identically bent keys :p

    any ideas?

and today I greased my zerks and "aired down" to 30 psi for the coming snow

wiggle your steering wheel from side to side while trying to turn the key.

It could just be the ignition switch going out. Do you have a lot of key's? The weight kills ignition switches faster than having only a couple keys on your keyring.

X2 Sound like the ignition lock cylinder. The tumblers get worn out over time and eventually break. Make sure you replace it before it gets so bad you can't even get the key in. The trick to getting then out it's to turn it to ACC. And push a button on the under side

could be your ignition going out. sounds like the little tumblers in the ignition are not working properly

today i removed the throttle body is order to remove the idle air control sensor valve to clean it. my truck when warm and then cranked would idle really low and sometimes cut off. so far i dont have that problem after cleaning. also cleaned the throttle body and intake truck seems to even run a little smoother

Cleaning the TB and the IAC made a huge difference for my truck.

At first it was doing some weird high idle stuff (like around 1500rpms) after I did it; but it went away. Figured it was just the ECU adjusting.
