youll get there someday if you set your mind to it. I had been planning/waiting quite some time for this.

Unfortunately neither will work for me because I have a screen in the radio spot (double din) and my cb radio is in my ash tray spot lol..

Lol I was thinking more along the lines of somewhere on the dashboard lol.. Or I could swap my 60/40 seats, get buckets (sparco, Corbeau, or similar) and put a center console in with room for a bunch of switches.

Epoxy some sort of frame to the sheet metal amd bolt it all to that. Carpet it and it could look stock

That would be cool too, ive thought about putting a couple switches on my center console but the ash tray location worked out better.

I have a usb charger on the back of my console which is awesome

What's the best way to bend exhaust pipe? I have a new muffler but will need to make two bends in a pipe behind the muffler to install the hanger and route it away from the axle.

Hmm that first idea sounds kind of interesting, I'll have to explore my options still going to be a while till that happens. Need a bedrack/RTT and 35's first! Lol..

Lol yea I know how you feel, I've been trying to balance my truck parts and plans with my girl and I've just barely been cutting it haha.. I think I'm near 4.5gs for the truck this year :(.

i, after having a weak brake problem, on a 2004 tacoma i was given (knew it had brake issues, but the wife and i needed a 2nd car, and her brother gave us his as he is living with their parents taking care of them, and will be getting his fathers 2012 tacoma), so took it to a brake place to get it checked so i would know what was going on, a $45 wisely spent, it was determined that the master cylinder and both front brake calipers were bad, they said that the calipers looked super rusted and that while i might be able to still use them they recommend replacement (they already knew they were not getting a repair sale so they have zero reason to "pad the bill") they also said that the rear brakes are in great shape, but the fronts need rotors and pads.

So i got the rotors and pads, and master cylinder, also a parking brake line cause the first part of it was broken, wanting to see the calipers myself before i made the decision to buy. sure enough they did need it, and the bolts that held them on were unbelievably hard to remove, but got them broken free then tried to remove the pins that hold the pads in place, and they would not budge, even using a punch and a 4lb sledge they wouldn't move, in fact the end that the wire bit goes in, flattened out by my trying to remove them, so removed the old calipers and went to the parts store, took 3 trys but finally found one that had both fronts. went back home, the drivers side went on super easy, got everything back together.

Then went to the passengers side. rotor, caliper and pads all went on super easy, the trouble came when i went to put the brake line back on, and discovered that the threads on the bolt were stripped, noticed it right before i put it into the caliper, cant imagine i did anything to strip them removing it, as it was easy to remove. but nothing can be done now about it. did try to put it back on to stop the fluid leaking, but the threads are so bad off that it still leaks like it is disconnected.

So back out checked all parts stores, nobody had it, had to call toyota and they didn't have it either, so they had to order it, told them to order 2 just in case, and got 4 of the washers. sadly the parts wont be here till wed or thursday, so the tacoma gets to sit till then

but did get the master cylinder changed and the parking brake cable fixed, as well as changed the oil

I just did my brakes a month ago. Man my rotors were toast! I don't think my dad ever changed them. So they had 340k on them. Warped and major groove. Was a bitch to open the calipers up enough to fit new pads along with a new rotor. Haha. Hope it all works out for ya.

Sweet, thanks man. Just in time, ordered a satoshi (grille craft), Toyota emblem, and a lower driver side headlight filler yesterday.
