A craftsman and mastercraft maxximum... Lifetimewarranty ftw! The only one to hold up the the 3ft pipe for leverage and angry gorilla behind it was an old made in canada proton challenger.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
You should really have either a 1/2in. ratchet or a breaker bar if you are extending the length for leverage.

I like the stance, but I want to add wheel spacers and I'm pretty sure if I get the wheel spacers it'll rub. That's why I'm looking for just a little more lift

I want a little more lift so I can fit a bigger tire (I know "more lift doesn't fit a bigger tire when you're wheeling") or get wheel spacers

If it rubs with wheel spacers at the current height it will rub with more lift most likely when compressing the suspension. You retain the same range of motion, you're just extending the suspension further along it's arc in a static condition with a lift.

I wish I had just one more inch of lift but I'm scared of the idea of a body lift. Plus I don't really need it.
So since I have 5100s on the max setting up front, and 5100s with 1.5 inches of lift in the back, I'm gonna need new bumps?

Wait what? Do you mean you have a lift in the rear with 5100's that can accommodate 1.5" of lift? Because shocks on their own won't lift anything.

Yes it has 1.5 of lift with 5100s just replacing stock shocks, but apparently 5100s are garbage :pout:

I think I'm just confused on the wording.

I read it like he installed 5100's with 1.5" inches of lift(not possible to lift just with a shock) and not he installed a 1.5" lift(AAL, shackles) and 5100's to acommodate them

I love my 5100 struts. Can't say anything for 5100 shocks as I've never used em before

Full ome lift, nitro charger sports all 4 corners (rear shocks relocated), Dakar pack w/ AAL, 882 coils, diff drop, toytec 1" shackles, trail gear low profile front bumper, Tuff Stuff winch, bamf sliders, RAT skids, BAMF Bed Rack, Tepui Kukenam RTT, RAT rear bumper,
To each their own. I feel like I could pop some recovery gear or maybe my shower head and hose in there to good effect. Will I ever buy it? Nope. And I sure as hell wouldn't put a chair on it haha, couldn't agree with you more on that point.

    Got it

5100's are fine for what they are. As long as you don't expect the same performance as a full adjustable coilover they'll do just fine for you.

only need to move bumps if you were running a spacer lift or some longer body rear shocks (slightly long is okay)

Nope I just wanted a little bit of lift to help me out, and didn't want to go the spacer route so I thought doing the adjustable 5100s up front would be a little better but then everyone got into that huge rant on how sucky they are after I bought them, they've did me well so far though
