Yes they are stock brakes.

 

I knew this truck looked familiar on headlight junkies page. Nice truck and hopefully you get that fixed asap

 

Yeah I'm not about to be driving around like a moisture clown lol.
Where would I put the packets? The housings are sealed

 

I would probably pull out the bulbs and stick a few packets in there tied or taped to something so you can pull it back out.
Maybe even consider running a bead of caulking around the edges of the headlight casing so it doesnt happen again

So just leave the bulb out in the meantime?

 

Yea if you don't need to drive it. Just park it inside and toss a few packets in attached to something.
Don't touch the bulbs though, oil from your hands with cause the bulbs to fail when they heat up

 

Not what I did to the taco today but excited to get this part home.

See I don't NEED it but I guess I've held onto it just for that just in case scenario. Could fund sliders or winch or skids...possibilities are endless. I go back and forth all the time!

 

I put mine back on in the winter. It's nice not having a bed full off snow.

 

Yeah was thinking of putting it back on for winter to see how useful it really is to me!

 

Sounds like water from the engine bay wash got into the back of the housing.

1. Make sure you haven't plugged the vent on the back. It should have a short black rubber hose with a 90 degree pointing downward.

2. I'm trying to remember what I did but I think I added some non-hardening sealant around the projector between where it goes through the housing and where the nut screws on. The washer gasket that comes with the retrofit doesn't seal too well as I recall. Also the HID retrofit deletes the rubber surround where the headlight wire used to plug in so the sealant might be a good idea anyway.

 

Got the Deaver springs, TC shock mounts, Toytec shackles, and Timbren flip kit mocked up. Had to hack the exhaust. I got so much lift from the springs I might have to go back to the OEM length shackles.
