    *Disclaimer*
This question has been asked 100x times but I'm still confused so please pardon the question.

On a '02 Taco 4x4 *manual transmission*, what type of gear oil goes into the following:

    Front Diff:
    Trans. Case:
    Rear Diff:
    Manual Transmission:
I can't remember if transmission oil should be changed on a manual transmission, can someone confirm?

    Thanks guys.

Is my imagination or is the radiator more exposed /visible with this bumper? Does paint and option or later project?

I'm doing the same thing in a couple of weeks, what people told me was any 75-90 gear oil for front/rear diffs and transfer case. But transmission do a GL-4 gear oil

Front, Rear, and T-Case: 75w-90 GL-5 (I tend to use Valvoline, its cheap and easy to find, don't waste your money on synthetic for these)

Manual Transmission: 75w-90 GL-4 (Redline MT-90, Amsoil GL-4, there's some others too but don't use a GL-5 or a GL-4/5 blend, synthetic is preferred but not required for tranny)

Not required but it's completely fine if you want to. The T-Case has one synchro and is otherwise fine to shift even with GL-5 (that's what I'm running). Also fix your formatting!

    To be clear:
    Front diff - 75w90 GL5 Dino
    Transfer case - 75w90 GL5 Dino
    Rear diff - 75w90 GL5 Dino
    Manual transmission - 75w90 GL4 (Redline MT-90, Amsoil GL-4) NOT GL-5.

The service manual mentions the word HYPOID when referring ONLY to the front and rear diffs. Does that mean that I can't use the same Valvoline 75w90 gear oil that I'm using on the transfer case for the diffs?
    Thanks guys.

You got it, as for using the same oil in diff and T-Case, you can. Look up what a hypoid gear set is. It's a good read if you're mechanically inclined. GL-5 is generally rated for hypoid gear sets.

Ive done a few things to mine in the past few weeks. First thing is I removed the ash tray and mounted my CB in the space.
    IMG_7253.jpg
Next I ordered a firestick kit and Made a mount to go between my canopy and the bed rail of the truck
    IMG_7254.jpg IMG_7255.jpg
Then yesterday I installed my new brush guard. Kind of a pain.... direct fit my ass:annoyed:
    IMG_7263.jpg IMG_7264.jpg
And finally I got some KC 100w long range spotlights that I still need to mount/wire up. When this term of school ends I have a month off and plan to fab up some sort of a rear bumper. If any of you guys have an idea for this let me know!:D

It's cool, I'll know that feeling. I gave up on Tapatalk in favor of the mobile version of TW. It seems to work with less bugs and even supports uploading from phones with zero issues.

The bumper @-40 has will run you $549.00 (bare/unpainted) If you have a 98-00 you'll need to add Frame Insert Adapter Plates for an additional $19/pair.

Looks good, you may want to consider putting a heavy duty spring on the antenna so it doesn't end up a two piece.
